I painted my fiancee using a photo for reference. I kept track of my time while painting, which added up to a little over 31 hours. Despite the time spent, the painting still didn't quite end up the way I wanted it to look, which was a bit disappointing. It was only my third real painting, though, so I suppose I lacked experience.
