Cloudflash is now ready to acknowledge that it is 2015. Yep, changing the year number in a few files really took a lot out of me. Probably won't be able to do anything productive for at least a couple months. I kinda changed the logo while I was messing with that crusty old image. I just felt like it was time. I've been meaning to change it to my fancy writing for a while, but was undecided on how to make the C look. I had a fairly underwhelming C designed, which simply wouldn't do for a website that starts with the letter C. Today, I had an idea out of nowhere - to make the C resemble a moon shape. It seems to work. It will seem to work better if I ever get around to redesigning the site to look like a night sky. Good night.
I'm a little surprised I haven't been posting at least one update post every month or two. I have REALLY let myself go! Well, what can I say? I've been pretty busy with real life. It's this weird MMO with permadeath and weak gameplay. The graphics are so-so. I ditched my old base and moved into a new place, which I'm liking more. I've still got a good few real life quests to take care of. Why, I think it was just yesterday I completed a quest to renew my driver's licence for another 5 years. I also have a few quests involving immigration stuff, which I hope to take care of soon.
I didn't have room to setup my computer until today, which is why I've been awfully silent for the past week or so. I've got an enormous backlog of games to play on Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and PS3. I'm also enjoying the subtle taste of DFO every now and then. I haven't been able to sleep in for what feels like ages. I mean, I usually don't get up until 11 AM or something, but that isn't sleeping in. What I'd like to do is sleep until oh, say, 3 PM or so. I have too much to do, that's the problem. When will I get around to my projects? It would be weird if I ended this post just like this.
Cloudflash done gone and turned 11. I actually forgot its anniversary was today and would probably not have noticed if not for Skutieos posting about it. Not a whole lot to say this year. I'm uninspired and lazy. I've accomplished nothing creative and that trend is likely to continue into the foreseeable future. Of course, I still think about working on projects and doing artwork. I have no doubts that at some point, I will get some things done. When? I've got no idea. For the time being, I'm heavily considering making YouTube videos mostly related to gaming. I wasted 200 bucks on a game capture card to allow myself to record video game footage, so I damn well better be making videos.
What does this mean for Cloudflash? Probably nothing. I dunno if I'd bother cataloguing YouTube videos on a Cloudflash page as it would likely be a waste of time and nobody would look at it. Cloudflash will likely continue its comatose state. I have no intentions of pulling the plug, though. I'm just vain enough to feel like continuing to have my very own website.
It took a few days of work, but I finally finished my first YouTube video. Since "Danno" is obviously already taken on YouTube, I decided to call myself "Danno Trigger". See, it works 'cause it sounds like "Chrono Trigger", one of my favourite games of all time. I also imitated the Chrono Trigger logo so that people will think I'm cool. My first video criticizes Pokemon Go, a smartphone app to be released next year. I intend to make more videos related to gaming. I'll write lyrics for video game music I like, review games, comment on things like game characters, make YouTube poops, and perhaps post things I consider funny. The hook is that rather than posting a video recording of myself when I talk, I'll post an animated version of myself.
I dunno if I should bother fusing my future YouTube videos with Cloudflash. I mean, if anyone wanted to see my YouTube videos, they'd just go to YouTube, right? I've been thinking about removing some of my past works, actually. I'm pretty ashamed by how crappy a lot of it is. We all know almost all of my animations and games are junk. A lot of my comics are pretty lame, too, though I feel more inclined to keep those up, I guess. When I think about redesigning Cloudflash, I'm halted by questions like "What should I get rid of?" I need to have a plan so that the navigation can be organized and useful, after all. I should probably get rid of the "Downloads" section of the site, that was a pretty half-baked idea from the get-go.
To the 5 or 6 people who actually visit this website, what do you think?
I just finished my second YouTube video, in which I sing along to the Butter Building song from Kirby. I had the lyrics written and everything all planned out for about 2 weeks, which is why I released this so soon. I have some other video ideas planned out with the scripts fully written and all, so there's a good chance I'll have some other uploads in the near future. I certainly won't be keeping up weekly uploads forever, though. I'll just burn through all my planned content, hit a dryspell, then probably go on hiatus for 3 years just like every other project I've worked on. Well, at least now I can say I've accomplished something creative this year.
